Indian Idol Junior is another reality show which is broadcasted on Sony TV. The idea of the show is based on the senior version of the Indian Idol. The main problem with the Indian Idol was that the person younger than 16 years of age couldn’t participate in the show and hence a major chunk of talent was missed by the judges. To overcome this problem, a new show was incepted. The judging panel of the show in season 1 had Vishal Shekhar and Shreya Ghoshal. Until now, two seasons of the show have been broadcasted and in the season 2, the name of the judges was Salim Merchant, Sonakshi Singha, and Vishal Dadlani.
The first season of the show was won by Anjana Padmanabhan and the winner of the second season of the show was Ananya Sritam Nanda. The auditions of the next season would start soon and hence the details regarding the registration process and eligibility criteria have been uploaded here.
