The Indian television is witnessing a new era, which has been revolutionized by reality shows. Today, the reality shows of various genres have reached the top by garnering high TRPs. Cashing in on the trend, different channels are bringing on new programs now and then. Here are some new reality shows in India 2015:
The Voice India 2015 (& TV)
“The Voice India” is a singing reality show, which is telecast on weekends at 9 PM on & TV Channel. It is based on a Dutch show and has been produced by Endemol India. Television actor Karan Tacker is hosting the show, while Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and Mika Singh are playing the mentors of the participants. “The Voice India” is a show which rates the participants on the basis of singing and singing only, and has three phases for them, the Blind Audition, the Battle Phase and the Live Performances. The coaches choose contestants based on the performances given during Blind Audition, where they can only hear them and judge them on voice alone. This is how teams are formed on the show and contestants trained by the respective coaches. The winner will have the opportunity to make his bane in the music industry.
Dance + (Star Plus)
After the completion of the latest season of “Nach Balliye”, Star Plus is back with another dance based reality show called “Dance +”, which aims to bring ahead sensational dancers from all over the country. The show will be adjudged by the well known choreographer, Remo D’Souza, while it will have some leading dancers like Salman Yusuff, Puneet Pathak, Dharmesh Sir and Sumeet Nagdev, as the mentors to polish the contestants in their dancing skills. The format of the show is such that it can include solo dancers, couples as well as groups, to showcase their talent on stage. With the dancers chosen from all across India, the show is all set to hit the screen.
India’s Next Top Model (MTV Channel)
India’s Next Top Model is the latest reality show to be aired on MTV Channel. It is based on the famous American reality show called “America’s Next Top Model”, which rocked the screens in 2003. The show opens the doors of the modeling industry for young women of India, who will compete for the prestigious title of India’s Next Top Model. Lisa Haydon will be playing the host and will also judge the show. Others who will be a part of it and mentor the girls are Dabboo Ratnani, Anusha Dandekar and Neeraj Gaba.
