The previous four seasons were a huge hit in the country and the channel is all set to start off the 5th season of MasterChef India. A number of contestants will audition by trying to impress the judges with the best meal they can prepare. The judges will select 50 contestants who will end up in the semi final places. These contestants will later have to compete to secure a position in the final 12. These 12 contestants will then face several challenges to avoid elimination and move forward in the show.
