Denial of Services – The government made Aadhaar mandatory for many services and hence it is definitely going to benefit the country but at the same time there are people who do not have an Aadhaar Card and this could lead to the denial of services.
Lack of Information – There are several rural areas where some of the people are not aware of the Aadhaar System and the people with old age can also find it difficult to adapt the new technology.
Security Issue of Database – All the database is kept on one server and hence the data is prone to security attacks. This could lead to aleak of financial as well as biometric information of the people and this could be a significant security threat.
Lack of Digital Privacy – The Aadhaar data can also be used in mass surveillance and at the same time, the Aadhaar has killed the digital privacy. The government can keep the track of each and every transaction that a person does and sometimes, the lack of privacy can prove to be dangerous.
